The Hama Hama Oyster Company

One mile south of the Little House,  it showcases a fish market with fresh fish, oysters, clams and if you are lucky geoduck! It has a renowned Oyster Saloon with selections of raw or smoked oysters, crab cakes, grilled cheese, wine, and beer. Children are welcome.

Whitney Gardens

12 miles North in Brinnon, WA, these gardens are run by a local lady and well worth the visit to see hundreds of rhododendron and azalea varieties, plus trees, flowers and plants for sale. The matriarch of the family lived to be 100 years old and worked well into her 90’s.

Rocky Brook Falls

There is a beautiful water fall outside of Brinnon you can walk to. Rocky Brooks Falls is no further than 2 blocks off the road and it is spectacular. Located on the Dosewallips road at the north end of Brinnon, there is no signage but if you pass a Bed & Breakfast on the Dosewallips Road then you have traveled one-half mile past it. There is a small parking area across from the road from the Falls. Walk on the path to the left of the building. More waterfalls and scenic walks.

Allie Ahl Lane

Allie Ahl was a pioneer who lived to be 103 years young. She worked in the lumber camps as a cook (so they say). Allie Ahl owned this section of land that we have the privilege of residing on today. More information can be found at the Mason County Museum in Shelton.
